Illegal dumps affect the value of a community to its citizens and impact the public health. Dumps also decrease property values and discourage economic development. And illegal dumps are against the law and make those who do the dumping public enemies!

Arkansas law states that anyone who has knowledge of or information on illegal dumping on public or private property may file a complaint. Those against whom the complaint has been filed can be ordered by the court to remove the solid waste that has been illegally dumped.  If they fail to do so, a judgment will be filed against the dumper, or a citation may be filed against the property owner.
